Do you or someone you know like Larabars?
Looking at the back of a Larabar package, I was actually decently impressed with the short list of ingredients and that is extremely rare for us looking at most packaged foods!
Of course, when you make anything homemade you can 100% control what you do/do not put into any given item.
We made our own 'Homemade Larabars' with only 3 ingredients and were dumbfounded at how quickly we threw them together & how amazing they turned out!
1 Cup Dried Unsweetened Cherries
1/2 Cup Medjool Dates, pitted
1 cup Raw Almonds
In a food processor/high-end blender, combine the Cherries and Dates and process until a sticky dough is formed.
Then, add in the raw almonds.
Blend again until the almonds are broken down and the batter looks well mixed.
On a baking sheet/pan, lined with parchment paper, transfer the ingredients from the blender.
Press down with the back of a spatula until evenly flat.
Refrigerate until ready to eat. Simply cut up the pan's mixture into bars and store them in parchment paper, or in a container in the fridge.
