As the summer temperatures rise, it's extremely critical to stay hydrated. What better way to do so than with a smoothie!?
Watermelon is the perfect summer treat and since it is nearly 92% water, it is a great compliment to the rising temperatures.
Blend these simple ingredients together and enjoy all of the adventures summer has to offer!
Ingredients:
* 2 Cups Watermelon (de-seeded and frozen)
* 1 Cup Strawberries
* 1/2 Banana (optional)
* 1/2 Cup Almond Milk (or dairy free favorite)
* 2 Tbsp. Flax Seed
* 10 Ice Cubes
Instructions:
In a high-speed blender, toss together all of the above ingredients and mix until smooth.
Pour into 2-4 glasses and garnish with fresh mint (if desired).
