Power Bowl

If your family is anything like ours, your mornings can get crazy, yet, you want to ensure that you and your little ones get the proper nutrition before you head out the door.

We often prepare 'Power Bowls' the night before so that we can satisfy our sweet tooth, yet they keep us fueled up for hours.

For this crafty creation, mix together the following ingredients:

* 1/2 Cup Oats (or steel-cut oats)

* 1 Scoop Vegan Chocolate Protein Powder

* 1/8 Cup Flax Meal

* 3/4 Cup Almond Milk (or dairy-free beverage)

Mix together this concoction and let it sit overnight in the refrigerator.

In the morning, add chopped Strawberries, Blueberries, and sliced Bananas.

This breakfast is a great combination of protein, healthy fats, and carbohydrates. It will keep you satisfied for hours and regulate your blood sugars accordingly.
