Pea Basil Wontons
"Flowers?! We're having flowers for dinner?" - My Children
Whether you think you're eating flowers for dinner, or a super simply healthy Meatless Monday rendition, you can't go wrong with this one!
Mix together the following in a bowl:
1 Can of Peas, drained (or frozen, or fresh peas work too) Fresh Basil, diced finely 1 Garlic clove, minced 4 Small Scallions, chopped finely Salt/Pepper to taste Dash of Turmeric
Dash of Paprika
Dash of Parsley 2 T. of Nutritional Yeast (to make it taste cheesy)
Line mini muffin tins individually with a Wonton wrapper. Evenly fill each cup with the aforementioned mixture.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350° or until the Wonton wrappers are lightly browned. Serve warm and enjoy!
