If you’re like our family, you want to provide your growing little ones with something nutritious, yet delicious enough for them to enjoy and keep them satisfied for more than 3 seconds. Well, what’s a family to do when you have limited ingredients within your four walls and want to practice social distancing? 🤷🏼♀ Try allowing your kiddos to help you make these super simple 3-ingredient snacks, which are sure to delight even the pickiest of eaters and can help them understand math skills, science and family togetherness.
You simply need the following ingredients for this quick fix:
* 2 Smashed Bananas
* 1 Cup Oats
* 1/4 Cup Crushed Pecans (or almond, or walnuts, or pretty much any preferred nut)
(* 2 Tablespoons Chocolate Chips - optional)
Mix the smashed bananas and oats together in a bowl until well blended.
Fold in the crushed nuts and mix until blended.
Add the optional chocolate chips at the last minute.
Bake at 350 degrees on a foil lined baking sheet for 6 minutes. Flip over with a spatula and finish baking for another 3 minutes.
Let cool on wire rack and enjoy warm or chilled.
