Valentine's Day Acai Bowls
Happy Valentine's Day!
It's the Hallmark holiday of love, but we can't think of a better way to love ourselves than to start off today (and everyday) with a nutritious, delicious, antioxidant-filled, protein-packed breakfast.
Check out the easy recipe below and enjoy this fun day with loved ones!
1/2 organic banana, sliced and frozen
½ cup organic blueberries - frozen
½ cup organic strawberries - sliced and frozen
½ cup organic Acai berries - frozen
½ cup almond milk (or dairy alternative like oat milk, coconut milk, or macadamia nut milk)
½ cup plain dairy free yogurt (we like coconut yogurt)
1 scoop strawberry or vanilla vegan protein powder
Put all of the frozen fruits into a high-speed blender. Add your milk, yogurt, and protein powder.
Blend on medium speed until your mixture is smooth.
Divide into 2-3 bowls and top with your favorite fresh fruits, nut butters, and Fit Mama Foods' Granola.
